We had a great time with family this past weekend at the Baffin Bay house boat. Grandpa Golla came down with Brother Mike and all the nephews. Friday and Saturday were phenomenal under the lights as far as trout go. Sunday night the wind shifted back out of the east and the bite slowed. Weed was really thick but thinned out on Sunday. Water clarity was excellent. Bait was thick everywhere with a large presents of shrimp under the lights. Piggy perch were caught in good numbers and used to catch some of the larger trout and reds. All in all everyone caught their share of trout with the two largest going 26-inches. In addition, we picked up six flounder and several nice size redfish.
