Went out to dimmit pier, caught 3 hardheads using dead shrimp, all released. Not much else, but some bait stealers, windy morning. _________________ The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad. ~A.K. Best |

It seems that Night Time Fishing will increase your chances on that pier (6pm-10pm). I am taking my Kayak right by there and get into that channel as soon as the water warms up a bit. There is where my buddies and I have had a lot of luck especially right around the floating blue boat house
Thanks for the report... _________________ "Do not call my Jeep a Car ever again " |

Does anyone know if the pier has lights at night? _________________ The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad. ~A.K. Best |

Yes the pier does have lights. I have been there when they don't turn on as well so I always carry my head lamp. I bought one at academy for $14 and I use it regardless whether or not the lights are on on any pier. Works great. _________________ "Do not call my Jeep a Car ever again " |

| No the lights are not working on that pier. There are one or 2 lights that work only, and they are too close to shore. Bring your own light at night on this pier. |
