Phil was the epitamy of a rough tough captain that lived his entire life fishing. I enjoyed the "reality" of his relationship with his crew and sons through the "Deadliest Catch"

May he rest in peace.

He is in the hands of THE Fisherman now. No more pain, and you can bet he will still be fishing, only from a different captains seat.

man i heard about that yesterday capt phil was my fav one sad he had to go so young but he was doing what he was doing what he loved to do
