Get your ham radio license and install a good HF radio. Smile

Mobile NVIS propagation on 40 meters in the day can often cover all of PINS, from Mexico to Galveston. When I'm rigged out I'm usually monitoring 7.260 Mhz.

a friend has a pre-pay cellphone.. the cheapest old school flip phone there is but it has service at the ranch and at the mansfield jetties... I the brand is ... net-10

Sprint is good 'till the 10 and picks up again at the 40 if you get on top of the dunes but I havent been there in over a year. L

it just depends on where you are at..
if at ypass by the tall post all cells work,
at mansfield jetties on top hill all phones work,
signal can be good up to 10mm or att and verison, have gotten text out while driving on t-mobile.
have not tried on the 40mm-50mm but always heard like previously mentioned on the dunes you can get signal..

CB or handheld good for regulars out there..
other than an emergency,,,, phone is off that is what makes PINS so great, you cant get of hold of me... Very Happy
