Anyone here us a Whole House FM Transmitter Gold Edition? If so what station do you get the best reception on? Paperwork says to use 106.7, 106.9, 107.1, 107.3, 107.5, 107.7, or 107.9.
Guess what i'm really wanting to know if it works in our area as well as advertisement claims. Transmitter only has 7 preset frequences to use.

Thanks,
Fred

I'd just tune to each freq and pick the most signal-free one. Your sound quality isn't going to be all that much better than standard broadcast FM this way.

Depends on what kind of low noise rf is around, try them all. Professor told me a long time ago, son FM DOES NOT stand for frequency modulation, it stands for frickin magic. Shocked 20 years later he seems to have been spot on.

When I had one I remember 87.9 being the clearest for this area. Not too sure on those other channels.
