If you travel at low tide you'll be fine. We killed it on Spanish Mackerel today. Only a couple rat reds though.

At the 60 right now, driving past the 40's was a bit rough but workable at low tide. No sign of red tide down here. Lots of birds in the water after baitfish. Green water, but it's pretty high

Supposed to drive to North Mansfield Jetties Thursday for a 4 day trip....a bit concerned between the red stuff, fish kill and high tides.

Are the south/west jetties reachable (assuming crossing the Colorado river or by some other means)?

Specifically looking at the Jetties around the Matagorda Shipping Channel
