The king fish leaders work pretty good with ribbon fish. I have also had luck with russel lures in gold and silver. You can get those leaders at walmart for cheap.

Water temp is cool right now so just a bait bucket and some live shrimp will do. a stake out stick might be windy. have all your safety equipment. good luck.
