Try this site or many others. You can buy more expensive hooks, but these seem to work great inshore, offshore, and in the surf.

Mustad at Wal-Mart size 2-3 works fine for the species you are targeting. Small mouth requires small hooks. Basic fishing folks. Fish On! SM Smile

Got there about 2 pm and water was a bit rough but clear. No mullet moving. Makes since they have been slaughtered by the birds for last couple of weeks. Good news is that the pompano are still there ...

They both passed away yesterday. The smaller one in the morning and the stronger one at night. I finally got them to let me hand feed them and by that time it was too late. I did my best, no regrets. ...

They are letting me open their mouths and I am giving them baby bird formula. If I would have put them back in the tree, they would have died for sure. That was the morning of Hurricane Alex. SM Very Happy
