Bud Rowland's fish a few years ago went 37 1/4", over 15lbs, and Craig Carson's world record out of Florida went 39.5". I believe our local fishery at least rivals ...

My brother works for a diesel repair shop and from what he sees, the most trouble free diesels are the 7.3 Ford, the 5.9 Cummins and the LBZ series Duramax (06'-07').


You can't go wrong with a 7. ...

Cool...


The drawback I see is the weight combined with the exposed treble hook will make it impossible to fish a shallow grass bottom in the bay, but they would probably work well in the surf.
