John Glenn did a fantastic job on mine, but it took over two years. His freezer is full and has job security for a long while. It's worth the wait if you can stick it out.

I only use power pro 30lb. In the beginning I did experience some wind knots in the beginning. But I've found that the line has to be fairly tight around the spool. Not too tight and not too loose.

If you have a fiberglass tank it may be resin from it due to ethanol. I've got a poly tank and the ethanol ate my fuel hose pretty bad.
